Tuesday morning at 7:00am I hopped on a plane headed for
Toronto. I was so grateful to see everyone there before I left. My friends and
family mean a lot to me and I feel so special to have them come say goodbye.
While on the plane I sat with an older couple, but I kept to myself, as they
did also. I watched some satellite TV courtesy of WestJet, and for some reason
or another I felt extremely nauseated the whole time. I normally love flying so
that really surprised me. I had 45 minutes between my two flights in Toronto
which I figured would be a sufficient amount of time. I guess not. I got off my
plane, and walked all around the stinkin’ airport to get to my gate, not that I
was lost, it was just on the other side. By the time I sat down I realized that
my plane was boarding and that there was no time to rest. I sat window seat
(again) and was beside a man, I’m guessing mid 40s. I didn’t talk to him but for some reason I
could totally picture him as a magazine writer or something like that. No idea
what he did but he was on his crazy phone and laptop trying to organize
something that he had to give a speech in. (I sneaked a peek). Finally getting
off that flight (IT SEEMED LIKE FOREVER!) I headed straight to the bathroom- I
don’t do airplane bathrooms. I’m not sure if the flight seemed so long because
I was by myself or because I was nervous, but either way, it felt way too long.
I picked up my luggage, met my friend and headed off on my journey to
craziness.

The Last Full Week
As of tomorrow it will be ONE WEEK until I fly 4018km across the country to my somewhat familiar city of Lethbridge. At times I am terrified, at other I am filled with excitement. Tonight I had a little get together with some of my family. It was great to see everyone, and sad to know that the next time I come home my twin cousins Jack and Finn, and Ella will definitely not be as small as they are now. They are so adorable. There is still so much to do. I am starting to get a little overwhelmed. As I was driving to work this morning I realized that it was my last full week of work. It was so sad. I can not believe it. Sometimes work is trying, but who's job isn't? I absolutely love it though. I am so sad to think that I won't get to work with these people anymore. I love seeing these people everyday. Sure sometimes some people get under my skin, but hey, its a family, that's suppose to happen. I am so grateful I got hired at Reebok. I am also amazingly grateful for the opportunity I had to become third key. I have learned so much! I learn so much everyday, from everyone. I don't know what I would do without the people I work with. Joe is most definitely an awesome Manager. One of a kind for sure! A definite pleasure, and missed. Coleen is a gem! Love her! I can't imagine Reebok without her. The perfect mixture. She gets things done while still being able to have fun and willing to listen to our other issues. Beyond the call of duty. I would work for her any day! Ellen, oh Ellen. I will miss you! For some reason, no idea how, but she manages to stay calm, or at least come across that way. She is hilarious and I am a huge fan! Kayla, hilarious, what more can I say. An open ear and amazing story teller! Alyssa, I'm not gonna write anything, it will take too long. LOVE YOU! <3 My boys, Alex, Jordan, Sylvain. You guys brighten my day! Paige, Olivia, Robin, Kendra, you guys are amazing! All unique and brilliant. Syd the Kid, loovveee you :) you have the best ideas. [If I forgot anyone I am sooooo sorry!]
I am so proud of everyone at Reebok. We killed the tent sale! We surpassed last years tent sale and our budget. I couldn't be prouder. I thought things went well, with some minor things we accomplished a lot. I am so pleased. Coleen did amazing! So proud of her. She kept us all going! Thank you!
Tent sale is over, at times I thought I might of fainted, but we did it. Still things to do but I am glad it is over.
Not even 10 o'clock but most definitely time for bed!

Tent Sale
So, the tent sale hasn't officially started yet but I am already feeling the pressure. The actual tent was set up today and the stress in the air is insane. Our new District Manager and another Manager from another store flew in tonight to help. I was kind of worried that the DM wouldn't be as helpful or nice as we need but he was way better. He is absolutely awesome! I gave him a tour around and talked to him for 20-30 minutes. It is interesting how when you pray for things you really notice the extra help. I am so grateful!
Tomorrow is set up for the tent sale. Two tractor trailer loads are arriving tomorrow. Wish me luck!
2 Weeks until the Move. So much to do!!

Blessings
"Always look at what you have left. Never look at what you have lost."Robert H. Schuller
"A man is happy so long as he chooses to be happy."Alexander Solzhenitsyn
If the Lord wanted us to be unhappy He would never bless us with all the opportunities and blessings He does. If that is the cause, then what gives us the power to completely overlook them and pay more attention to what we don't have at that given time then what we have been given?
This past weekend I definitely have been given many many blessings. Some more evident then others. I feel extremely grateful for many things that I have recently been given. This weekend I had the absolute pleasure of driving to Halifax with two of my most amazing friends, Alyssa (http://alyssafraser.blogspot.com) and Emily. I absolutely loved being with them. Leaving at 11:00pm Friday night we arrived at Jessica's apartment early Saturday morning. After some great chats we went to sleep. In the morning Alyssa and I picked up Cory at his apartment and drove to the temple. Alyssa and I did baptisms and it was such a blessing to be able to do those with her. She is such a blessing in my life and I will miss her dearly. After we went for lunch and dropped her off at Haig's house down the street. Cory and I waited at the temple for my parents to arrive so that I could receive my Patriarchal Blessing. What an amazing experience. It amazes me what the Lord has in store for me. To receive that insight into what the Lord is willing to give me if I do my part and the amount of lives I can touch. What an incredible thing. I feel so privileged to be able to have that.
The rest of the day consisted of driving around Halifax with Alyssa, Haig and Jared (my navigator), almost getting hit by a bus (INSANITY) and going to the beach! After some lovely sun we went to get ice cream and I ventured back to Jessica's. After not exactly being able to find my way I grabbed Tim at his and Cory's apartment and we headed over. We then proceeded to go downtown/the waterfront. Cory joined us at the apartment after. Sunday consisted of breakfast at Jessica's, church at the single's ward, and a mini chill sesh back at the apartment. The roadtrip would not be complete without going on the ferry so that's how we ended the night.
I am so grateful for the people I spent the weekend with. Emily, Jessica, Tim, Cory, Haig, Jared.. all such amazing people. All unique but with qualities that I would not want to live without. They seriously are amazing people and I am so grateful to know them.
I am so grateful for the people in my life, the opportunities I have, and the blessings the Lord gives me. I am so excited for what the future has in store for me. Though I am nervous, I am not scared. I know the Lord will look after me, and that I have wonderful friends and family who are always there for me.
I am extremely blessed.
May everyone feel as blessed as I am.

Grrrr
Sometimes I am convinced that a day cannot get any worse. Then it does. Then it gets so bad that you are actually crying because you cannot manage to think of or do anything else.
That was my day.
That was my day.

4 Words..
I. Love. Adam. McQuaid.

Not in a creepy stalker kind of way, but in a "he is the nicest guy ever" sort of way.
Story to come. :)
P.S. I love my job.
